Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (HITS), was conferred Deemed to be University status by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource. Development, Government of India, under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, vide Notification No. F.942/2004U3 dated 5th May 2008. HITS has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an “A” Grade and a CGPA of 3.3. The University offers a wide spectrum of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and Doctoral Programmes in the areas of Engineering, Technology, Aviation, Architecture, Management, Science, Humanities, Fashion Design and so on.
